ReplyDeleteSO. FREAKING. JEALOUS. Of everyone who gets to go this year. I've been three times (Austin, Atlanta, Chicago), and two of those (not Atlanta) still appear in the Top Five Best Times Nick Has Ever Had rankings. Live it up. Have a little extra fun for me.

Sadly not this year. Definitely next year since D.C. is much closer and easier to get to!

Nobody here knows me, but I'll be going to AWP this year, too! Even though money's tight, I'm already super excited. I only know of a few people from my undergrad alma mater going, so I'm definitely looking to meet some new creative writing folks.
ReplyDeleteFYI: I'm not an MFA student, but am a current Indiana journalist planning to apply later this year. Hence the preemptive trip to AWP to check out programs.

Hey, I'll be there I'd be down to meet up - my friends and are staying at the Grand Hyatt and I'm sure we can just meet up at the end of the night when I hear people start drinking a lot lol.
